Our Team

Heather
Heather has been a hygienist with Ritchie Dental Group since 2007. She graduated from Coastal Bend College in Beeville, TX with highest honors. She has also received advanced training with the JP Institute and has achieved Mastership status in the JP curriculum. Also, she has taken classes at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.

Her favorite thing about dentistry is getting to know each of her patients and what makes them special. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and her two dogs, Trixie and Boots. She also enjoys being outdoors, climbing the mountains of West Texas with her dad, hunting, being on the lake, dancing, going to concerts, and shopping.

Jen Cannavino-Charlton
Jen is one of our Hygienist and has been with Ritchie Dental Group since July 2009. She graduated from Wharton Jr. College in Wharton, TX with the Golden Scaler Award. She has been working in the dental field since 1985. Over the years she has been through many training sessions such as the JP Institute and Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies which all have kept her up to date with the most modern dental technologies.

Jen is dedicated to patient education to help achieve and maintain optimal oral health. Aside from her passion for dentistry, Jen has appreciation for the outdoors and its beautiful scenery. She spends most of her spare time enjoying nature by running, hiking, boating, listening to live music, volunteering at different community organizations, and volunteering at the school her daughter, Avery, attends.

Lisa Perry
Lisa Perry is one of our registered dental assistants and has been with the practice since 2000. She sits chair side with the doctors, assisting them with several types of procedures including implant surgery and full mouth reconstruction. She also helps educate patients on the importance of good oral hygiene.

Lisa has taken many hours of continuing education. She has trained in orthodontic and advanced orthodontic assisting, taken classes at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies as well as the Texas Dental Association. She has also received training in CPR and infection control.

Lisa is active in Missions of Mercy, Rotary Dental Clinic, First United Methodist Church, and the Living Waters Emmaus Community. She has been married for over 20 years and enjoys going camping, working in the yard, and driving tractors.

Shellie Holland Lanford
Shellie has worked as a dental assistant since 1996 and has been with Ritchie Dental Group since 2004. She is currently one of our office administrators but still works as a dental assistant when needed.

Shellie has been through several continuing education courses through out her career. A few to name would be some cosmetic courses through San Francisco Institute and Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, an orthodontic course in Dallas, and many subjects through the Texas Dental Association in San Antonio. In her spare time, Shellie enjoys spending time out doors.

She enjoys working in her yard, walking, hiking, camping, and swimming. The most rewarding things in Shellie’s life is her family.

Tiffany Christian
Tiffany is one of our registered dental assistants. She has been with Ritchie Dental since 2005 and loves her job and the wonderful people she works with.

Working at Ritchie Dental has given Tiffany the opportunity to go to numerous advanced continuing education courses to help improve her many skills for various tasks in the dental field. What she loves most is orthodontics and working with people of all ages.

Tiffany has a wonderful little girl who she spends most of her time with. When she is not with her daughter, Tiffany loves to spend time with her friends, working with Emmaus walks along with attending other church events, and most of all going to ATM College games.

Jacy Shelburn
Jacy is one of our office administrators. Her duties include setting up appointments, presenting treatment plans to patients, and coordinating optimal financing options for treatment that is to be carried out.

Jacy currently lives in Burnet, TX with her husband. She enjoys reading, shopping with her friends, and traveling. Jacy attended a dental assistant program at Allied Health Careers in Austin, TX. Shortly after finishing the program, she came to work as an assistant with Ritchie Dental Group and has been here since 2006.

Her knowledge in the dental field continues to grow tremendously thanks to the Doctors, the knowledgeable team members, and numerous continuing education courses at Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. The best thing about her job is seeing someone's quality of life change dramatically through modern dentistry...and of course, helping to create beautiful smiles.

Ryan Perry
Ryan is our hygiene assistant and sterilization technician. Her duties include scheduling patients for their next cleaning appointment, assisting the Hygienist with patient charting, turning over rooms for the Hygienists next patient, and taking x-rays or impressions when needed. Ryan is also responsible for making sure all dental instruments are sterilized and ready for the next procedure.

Ryan currently lives in Marble Falls, TX. In her spare time she enjoys hanging out with her boyfriend and friends, fishing, camping, and working out. Ryan came to work with Ritchie Dental Group in 2008 as a sterilization technician. Since then her job duties have grown into assisting the Hygienist in different areas. In May 2010 Ryan will receive her RDA Certification and will be looking forward to expanding her knowledge as a Dental Assistant.

Her favorite thing about dentistry is helping patients better understand the importance of their dental health and seeing the changes that can occur in their lives through proper oral care.
