Hello Marble Falls! Welcome to the Ritchie Dental Group blog. We have been here serving the Horseshoe Bay area since 2000. We are constantly striving to cater to the oral health needs of our patients, and we hope that you might be one of these patients soon!
Many Marble Falls women experience morning sickness accompanied with vomiting. The gastric acid increases the acidity in the mouth, which can easily lead to enamel loss and tooth decay. Heightened levels of progesterone and estrogen may relax the ligaments that support the teeth, causing them to loosen.
If you’ve ever been interested in a smile makeover, we would love to discuss the possibilities. We want our Horseshoe Bay dental patients to have healthy mouths and beautiful smiles. At Ritchie Dental Group, we offer comprehensive dental services including: sedation dentistry, general dentistry, and porcelain veneers.
If the tooth is cracked, porcelain veneers may be the best remedy. This procedure is done by bonding a custom-fitted porcelain veneer to your tooth or teeth. This can cover a crack, chip, or discoloration.
A smile makeover in Marble Falls at Ritchie Dental Group typically involves two or more procedures, which may include: porcelain veneers, tooth implants, crown lengthening, dental bonding, and teeth bleaching. Of course, just one procedure such as tooth-colored fillings can make a world of difference.
If you replace your old silver fillings with tooth colored fillings, you can open wide without flashing any silver. Your rear molars will look like they did before you had any cavities filled. (How long ago was that?)

Brushing and flossing daily is a critical step in curing bad breath. Food particles can build up in your mouth and foster bacteria which can cause bad breath. This not only includes the food particles that may get stuck between your teeth, but also the food that collects around your gums or on your tongue. Brushing and flossing daily can help reduce the amount of food particles that stay in your mouth and cause bad breath. Regular visits to Ritchie Dental Group in Marble Falls can also reduce or eliminate the progression of bad breath.
Thank you for visiting the Ritchie Dental Group dental blog. Today, I’d like to review an important but often-overlooked feature in our practice: the modern dental chair. Did you know that dental chairs don’t come from your local Marble Falls furniture store?
Jaw pain may be caused by sinusitis. Sinusitis is the inflammation of the tissues that line your sinuses, and when these tissues are inflamed, the sinuses exert pressure on surrounding areas. If the inflamed sinus is near the jaw, pain in the jaw joint may result. This commonly happens following a cold or when someone suffers from allergies.
