Your Dentist Does A Lot More Than Fill Cavities

Bad Breath Treatment Horseshoe Bay

There’s been a big change in dentistry in recent decades. While the emphasis used to be on restoring teeth – fillings are the classic example – we now put a lot more emphasis on prevention, at Ritchie Dental Group in Marble Falls and Brady TX.

We are a full-service dental practice and still fill a lot of cavities, of course. But we offer much more than that. With regular checkups we can detect problems before they get serious, and prevent them.

Most cavities are fairly routine. Left untreated they’ll get worse, so we like to take care of them right away. A simple filling is usually enough to stop the cavity in its tracks.

Regular Checkups

We recommend that each of our patients have a regular checkup. For most people that means every six months. Sometimes a patient has an issue we want to watch carefully, in which case we want to see them more often – every four months or so.

A checkup is a chance to have your teeth thoroughly cleaned by a hygienist. We’ll also check you for signs of decay and gum disease, take dental x-rays, and perform other diagnostic procedures.

And then there is your smile. If there are any improvements you would like to make, we offer a full range of cosmetic dentistry, from teeth whitening to porcelain veneers.

At Ritchie Dental Group in Marble Falls and Brady TX we do a lot more tha just fill cavities. People from xxx come to us for general and family dentistry. Please call our office to schedule an appointment today!
